The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) is the unified military force of Canada, responsible for defending Canadian interests and values both domestically and internationally. It aimed to recruit and train new immigrants to join the forces, aspiring for the armed forces to reflect the ethnic diversity of the country’s population.
By promoting this initiative through various media channels and encouraging direct participation, the CAF engaged with community-based cadet programs, participated in numerous immigrant functions, and ultimately facilitated Permanent Residents’ ability to join the forces.
